There are fewer more powerful opportunities available to you to grow your business than through education your customers. Do you know exactly what each of your customers do? It is very possible that one of them could hold key knowledge that could help you. You also hold this key knowledge that your customers want and need. Share your knowledge. It is one of your greatest marketing opportunities!
Use your social media outlets to do this. Post on your facebook account what you recently sold and why said customer wanted to use it. It could become your FYI update. Tweet how the item could be used as compared to how it is normally used. Youtube it in use. Blog the instructions in various formats (.pdf/.jpg/.doc). TXT a coupon if they are in need of such a products.
As you can see, the opportunities are endless. All you have to do is make a plan and work your plan. Your educated customers will look to you like none of your competitors.
